DON’T BELIEVE THE TYPE
FOR THE LOVE OF TYPOGRAPHY
‘Don’t Believe the Type’ is a one day typographic festival, initiated by Dutch design agency Trapped in Suburbia.
This year it will be held on the 18th of May in Shanghai and will focus on the typographic excellence from The Hague. This day will be packed with workshops, lectures and visual excitement provided by Underware , Yomar Augusto, Rogier Wieland and Trapped in Suburbia. All these designers attended the renowned Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Their education has taught them respect for the tradition and also injected enthusiasm to make new, fresh and exciting typography.
The third manifestation of ‘Don’t Believe the Type’ will take place in The Hague on the 5th of November 2010.
